Today is our scheduled float on the Snake River. Mom decided to opt out and stayed at the
house. In our raft were the six of us,
two sisters and their sister-in-law and one of the children, a girl a little
younger than Liam. They were part of a
group of 24, all family getting together for a holiday…one house!!!
The afternoon was game time at the house (and nap time
for Mom). Just took it easy today.
It was an easy three hour float with one oarsman at the
back and beautiful scenery all around.
We didn’t see much in the way of mammalian wildlife but did see lots of birds…including pelicans,
an osprey,
Canada Geese,
and lots of bald eagles.

Chloe and Liam took turns riding on the very front of the raft...while going through the light rapids. Bumpy and fun.
We did see a deer just outside of our front door. Can't get away from the wildlife.
